This English icon comes with a haddock filet coated in a light, tempura-like batter and fried until crisp. Served with house-made tartar sauce, “chips” that you’ll recognize as starchy American steakhouse fries (which go nicely with HP sauce, a British condiment made with malt vinegar, molasses and tamarind), and your choice of beans or mushy peas.
